Darrin F. Hansen, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Darrin F. Hansen earned his medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed a residency in General Surgery at Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
Dr. Hansen is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a member of the American Medical Association, the Utah Medical Association and the Salt Lake Medical Association, he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.), and a member of the American Society for Bariatric Surgery (A.S.B.S.). He has served as the Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Alta View Hospital. Dr. Hansen is married and has four children.

O. Layton Alldredge, M.D., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Layton Alldredge received his medical training at the University of Utah College of Medicine where he was elected to membership in the medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. His surgery residency was at the University of Utah Affiliated Hospitals.
He opened his surgical practice in Sandy, Utah in 1982. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Bariatric Surgeons, and the Southwest Surgical Congress. He has served in numerous medical leadership positions including Chairman of the Departments of Surgery at Alta View and Cottonwood Hospitals, Medical Staff President at Alta View Hospital, and as a member of the Board of Trustees for the Urban Central Region of Intermountain Health Care. He has also served numerous times as a delegate to the Utah Medical Association representing both Alta View Hospital and the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Alldredge is a native of Salt Lake City. He is married and has three children

Vivienne Sullivan, RN
Program CoordinatorVivienne Sullivan grew up in Southern California. She graduated from BYU in 1974 with a bachelor of science in nursing. She worked in the newborn nursery at LDS Hospital for a few months and then she was a stay-at-home Mom for many years. In 1987 she re-entered the field of nursing and has worked at Alta View Hospital off and on ever since. She has been the camp nurse for many sessions of diabetic camp and girls camp. She and her husband Bruce have seven children and thirteen grandchildren (fourteen in June).

Heidi Chee
Social WorkerHeidi received her Bachelor's degree in Social worker at Utah State University and her Masters of Social Work at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and she is currently working as a mental health therapist at Associated Behavior Consultants. She and her husband have one little boy, who is her pride and joy. In her spare time she enjoys playing with her son, participating in sports, reading, and spending time with her family.

Deborah Feil
Exercise and Fitness SpecialistDeborah will graduate in May 2006 from the University of Utah in Exercise and Sports Science with an emphasis in Fitness Leadership. She has worked in the health field for the past 6 years. She is NSCA-CPT (National Strength and Conditioning Association-Certified Personal Trainer) and BodyGym certified and plans to complete Spinning, NSCA-CSCS, AFAA and ACSM certifications as well. She is an avid runner and has completed 3 marathons with a goal and a list of marathons she would like to and will complete.

Heather Filipowicz
NutritionistHeather graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Health and Human Performance with an emphasis in foods and nutrition from Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. As a recent graduate of the University of Utah, Heather completed her Masters of Science in Nutrition this August. Heather is currently the lead outpatient dietitian for LDS hospital. In her spare time, Heather enjoys being outdoors, hiking, reading, running, and returning to "Big Sky Country" (Montana) to visit her family.
